About the Magical Square

The appearance of these magical squares is very ancient, we find them in other civilizations, specially in the Chinese Tradition. But their use is associated to one of the most mysterious cabbalist, Rabbi Tsayah (1505-1573), influenced himself by Abraham Aboulafia`s school.
In the Hebraic tradition, letter and number are the same, but the magical squares are not just numerical exercices, they represent a subtile movement of light allowing to express what consciousness can not directly apprehend. They open indirectly the eye on an other dimension, thing that the numbers bring to us more rationally.
In the meditative system of Rabbi Tsayah, each magical square is used for a specific meditation. The simplest magical square is the one formed by a square of base 3, each line, each diagonal totalize the number 15. The sum of each extremity of the square is always equal to 10.
The squares that I present describe the movement of energy connected to the planet Saturn. According to the Sefer Yetsira (the book of Formation), the planet Saturn is connected to the Jewish people who traditionally were using this square to fight the negative forces.
